IIT Roorkee Faculty Profile

The faculty thing is very subjective but for some cases, everyone would agree. The faculty of my course majorly emphasizes on maintaining good attendance. The faculty is quite good as everyone specializes in their field and has done their degrees from some much-esteemed universities. Every faculty has their own way of teaching some taught boards, some using PPTs but generally, PPTs are used. Many courses in the department are lab and computation based so you do not get bored that is. They can be friendly if you connect with them and show interest while they are teaching otherwise you might find some problems later.Read Full Review

The faculty members are very supportive and highly qualified. They will make you interested in their subject and will always treat you like their own kid. They sometimes take surprise tests. The teaching methods include PPTs, projectors, etc. Sometimes, they teach us with the help of green board. They have completed their education from foreign countries. The faculty members of IIT Roorkee are very helpful and open minded. Most of the teachers have done Ph.D from this Institute. The teaching methods include blackboards, PPTs, etc. The faculty is very experienced in their respective field and they have published various research papers. The teacher to student ratio is around 1:20. Most of the faculty is approachable and students can ask their doubts during the class.Read Full Review
