I particularly accepted this college in my first round of JOSAA counselling. The reasons for choosing an IIT are mainly its infrastructure and placement opportunities. The campus of IIT Roorkee is one of the best campuses in the country with lush green beauty and the iconic James Thomason building of IIT Roorkee is its pride. Almost all type of sports facilities is available in the campus. The institute is amazing with an area of about 350 acres and a large number of facilities and sports. It has a good environment and offers good placement. It is one of the top Institutes in India and is highly recognised. The location of the institute is also good as it is surrounded by spiritual places like Haridwar, Rishikesh, and also places to visit like Manali and Shimla.Read Full Review
