The Chitkara University offers an ideal environment which contributes to the holistic development of the students. The University is pollution and ragging free to provide students with a safe campus.
The University’s campus is spread over around 63.45 acres of land with a built up area of approximately 1,46,900.52 square meters. With modern infrastructure, the campus is equipped with various facilities such as library, auditorium, common room, and so on.
The Chitkara University campus offers round the clock Wi-Fi facilities. The University has amphitheatre-styled classrooms which provides a conducive learning environment to the students. The classroom has the seating capacity of around 30 to 80 students. Along with this, the campus has 5 virtual classrooms for remote lectures as well.
Moreover, an auditorium is present at the University which is equipped with excellent acoustics, advanced lighting, and a massive stage. In addition, the auditorium can accommodate 800+ students and has an attached green room, guest lounge, and various other facilities.
In addition, the campus has around 5 open air theatres and 9 halls which are named ‘Explore Stars Hall ', ‘Plato Hall’, ‘Pierre Hall’, ‘Faraday Hall’ and so on. Moreover, the seminar halls have the capacity to accommodate more than 200 students. Apart from this, the Chitkara University campus has around 46 conference rooms.

- Library: The library at Chitkara University campus has around 1,30,000+ books with 40,000+ titles, 250+ National & International journals, 2,26,380+ audio ebooks, 500+ Ph.D thesis, and many other resources. Moreover, a digital library with over 50+ PCs is present within the campus to help students access several e-resources like 88,810+ e-journals, around 3,89,440 e-books, etc.
Furthermore, around 10 departmental libraries are present and have spacious reading halls, periodicals centers, group discussion rooms & online database browsing areas.
- Laboratories: The University has a Central Computer Centre which is equipped with around 2339 computers. Moreover, there are around 180 academic labs in which 53 labs are for computing and 34 labs are for research purposes.
Various departmental labs are available within the campus such as Cloud Computing lab, Medical lab, Microelectronics lab, and various others.
- Sports: The Chitkara University campus offers state-of-the-art sports facilities to the students which include a sports arena which includes several outdoor & indoor games facilities. Around 5 playgrounds are available which include over 15 outdoor games facilities like Cricket Ground, Football Ground, Volleyball Court, and so on.
Inside the campus, over 13 indoor games facilities are present such as around 4 Badminton Courts, 19+ table tennis tables, 4 pool-tables, 2 snooker-tables, 1 squash-court, 8+ carrom board sets, etc.
- Hostel: Separate hostels are available for male & female students at the University and all the rooms there are equipped with excellent living amenities. The mess is also available at Chitkara University Hostel which serves nutritional meals to the students. In addition, several facilities like common rooms with TV, indoor games, and other recreational facilities.
- Canteen: The Chitkara University campus has refreshments areas such as ‘Square one’, ‘Square Two’ & ‘Circle one’ with a seating capacity of around 1200, 100 and 126 students, respectively. All such food courts serve nutritious breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late night snacks.
Moreover, the campus has coffee, snack, and pizzeria outlets which offer a variety of food to the students. Apart from this, a dining hall is present with a variety of cuisines available.
- Transportation: The University has a fleet of buses which offers pick-up & drop services to the specific location only.
- Medical Facility: Chitkara University campus has a medical dispensary with highly skilled professionals which are available 24 hours to provide medical facilities to the students. Moreover, the University has a connection with nearby “Neelam Hospital’ to provide effective medical services to the students at subsidised cost.
In addition, ambulances are available in case of emergency. Apart from this, the University organises free medical check-ups within the campus.
- Gymnasium: The Chitkara University campus has a gym which is fully equipped with several fitness equipment. Moreover, an open gym is available for training purposes.
- Bank or ATM: At the University, an UCO Bank branch is available. Along with this, ATMs of Punjab National Bank & Kotak Mahindra Bank are present inside the campus.
