Gargi College is one of the most reputed girls colleges affiliated with Delhi University. Gargi is one of the best colleges situated in South campus of Delhi. I can say my college best as per the data and facts since it was also placed in the 16th position in the list of best colleges in India by NIRF. It is also the 9th best college for art department and 7th best for science department. If you talk about the overall review, genuinely the college has done best in almost all the fields either it be extra curriculum activities or it be academics. Admission process over here is really simple but all you need to do is clear the cutoff released. Generally for general category to get admission in good course you must have to score 92 and above in class 12th or you can also get admitted through the DU entrance exam.

I have pursued B.A Programme in political science and economics. In the year 2020, the cutoff for this combination for general students was 93% in their 12th class. I got the admission since I scored 94. If you have scored even 91 or 90, you need not to worry because for B.A programme, the best of 4 subjects' marks will be considered. I joined this course since I want to do PhD in political science and want to prepare for government exams in which both the subjects are helpful. It seems like learning arts as well as Commerce simultaneously. And I think I made the right choice, the subjects really meet my expectations. Political science is all about the politics standard which is all theory but then economics come with practical aspects. Overall the combination is good and properly taken care by the faculty.

Gargi has total 165 faculty members, each faculty is highly educated and perfect fit for the respective subject. Talking about my course, political science department has altogether 12 faculties and commerce department has 19 faculties. The average experience in teaching of the faculties are 6 years and above. All the teachers are either master degree holder or PhD holders. Talking about my course, all the facilities that teach me are just the best one. They provide us with all the study materials that we need for examination. The faculties are really helpful as well.

Placement cell is one of the important working organ of Gargi. They provide opportunities to the students of all the years to learn new skills through internships that they provide almost every day. There are very big companies like EYGDS, KPMG India, Evalueserve, Willis Tower Watson, Deloitte India, ITC Group, Inshorts etc. visit for campus placement. The highest package was provided by the josh talks that was Rs. 12 lakhs p.a.

Gargi College do not have any hostel facility. Except this, you can find all other facility over here. But there are many suitable PGs nearby for accommodation.

Gargi College has fantastic infrastructure that you'll love. The college classrooms and laboratories are well equipped. In the college you will find, a fantastic auditorium with accommodation of 750 people in together. If you are a book lover, the bookstore in the place for you. A part from these, College has a computer laboratory, food court, medical room, open air theatre, seminar hall, student's common room, union rooms. The college has an open ground where you can relax as well.

You will really enjoy your campus life in Gargi because here we girls are not just only engaged in academics, we also properly take part in all the other activities such as sports, dance, plays, and other extra curriculum. College has many societies for different activities. Some of them are nazaakat, euphony, sparks, NSS, etc. You will love your college life over here exploring the new things. And the college fests are literally the most awaited day for all the students. Every year a new celebrity joins us for our fest.
