It’s almost been 3 years I have been studying here and still, the environment is refreshing. From the date of joining till now, I have learnt a lot of things here. I found all the staff members really cooperative. It provides reservations for Sikh community; still the crowd is diversified and really decent. I love the canteen food and my favorite place of enjoyment is popularly known by the name of Jannat. A lot of events happen here. However, I found the annual fee a little bit higher than other colleges of DU as our college comes under DSGMC. Students’ complaints are listened to and addressed with immediate effect. However, boys hostel facilities and medical facilities are not available. If anybody wants to enjoy north campus life with a decent college, then one can go for SGTB Khalsa college as it has slightly low cut offs than other north campus colleges.

Faculties of commerce department are really cooperative and highly educated. Every batch includes a large number of people admitted in B.Com honours or B.Com programme. Students must fulfill the criteria of minimum cut offs as per the list, generally the cutoffs are from 95 to 97 percent. 50 percent of seats are reserved for Sikh community and one requires Sikh minority certificate authorised by DSGMC to fall in this category. This course includes both practical as well as theoretical subjects and practicals are held in college computer labs. Moreover, college does not provide any reservation for SC/ST and OBC. Enrolling in this program not only boosts the practical knowledge, but also provides decent placements for students.

Faculties are highly educated. All the faculties are specialised in a particular subject. They are highly cooperative and have friendly nature. However, most of the faculties are from Sikh community. Teaching style and efforts are really appreciable. Separate classes are held for tutorials, theory, and practicals.

My college also has a Placement Cell popularly known as Ignite. Every year, 80 percent of placements are from college campus. Ignite is really helpful towards students and provides great opportunities. But there is a criterion like minimum CGPAs to apply for placements. Placements are not as good as like other north campus colleges yet they are decent.

College has hostel facilities for girls only. Although it includes all the facilities like mess, laundry, AC, etc. I found it a bit expensive. Also, the payments are done in advance. Hostel gates have fixed timings for opening and closing.

College has a very beautiful infrastructure. Classes are very spacious and well ventilated. College has a well established building. Our college ground is one of the biggest college grounds in Delhi University. There is basketball court, gym, bhangra room, girls’ common room, auditorium, waiting areas, and well established offices.

Institute's overall campus life apart from academics is quite engaging and has room for exposure and opportunities for students of all interest groups. There is a wide range of extracurricular activities. From cultural societies to business exposure, everyone is served according to their interests.
