Review of Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati

Overall Rating
At particular it was not decided to take the college but in the counselling process it came and I locked the college because the campus is very much pretty. The beauty of the campus is lit. So no doubt that was the main reason and another reason was the placement obviously. It is also good. The experience of the campus is very much nice.
 

Academics Rating
So I am in B.Tech in Electronic and Electrical Engineering. So the course is difficult but the package is also very much good in these circuital branch. So to get into this you have to give exam of JEE Mains and Advance. With the JEE Advanced marks you get into IIT. The motive for enrolling is just placement.
 

Faculty Rating
As always not all things can be in favour of us so obviously some faculty is good in promoting and motivating the students but some professor are very much bad. But some professor really want to have interactive class.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is well maintained. We have 5 cores the cores means where there are different departments. I am having my department in core 2 electronic and electrical department and it is well spacious for all of us to come and accommodate. There are 12 hostel in IITG in which all are good and 2 girls hostel are also there.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is very enjoyable. You can roam in the campus all night. There is lake also you can sit on the side of the lake. The major and big fests of IIT Guwahati is Altering which is the largest fest of North East and there are other technical and research fest also. There are different clubs like dancing, singing, cultural, and many more.

    My experience with the Institute has been a chaotic and yet nice. The Institute is where one experiences a plethora of new activities, and gets to chat with passerby strangers like they were your next door neighbors and make unforgettable memories. IIT Guwahati as an Institute is excellent and definitely fitting of its namesake as an IIT.     Overall experience for me in this Institute is quite good. Campus has lush greenery; you will feel the nature surrounding you with each step you take in the campus. I particularly choose IIT Guwahati because I am got my desired course at my rank in this Institute. But once I came to campus I was fully overwhelmed with campus infrastructure and size.     It has been a year since I joined IIT Guwahati. I have a very good experience in this Institute. We didn’t get to join the clubs in the beginning but the Institute conducts several events. I can’t forget the mischief that I and my friends have done in the hostel throughout the year. I went for this Institute as the branch I chose aligned with my interests.
