In NIT Srinagar various courses are provided in B.Tech like CSE, IT, ECE, Electrical, Civil, Chemical and Mechanical. The requirements to enter in this institute is to crack the JEE Main exam and get a minimum of 94 percentile. Those who want to pursue their career in Engineering then opt for the program B.Tech.

NIT Srinagar has some faculties that are well experienced and good. Mostly of the faculties have done their Ph.Ds and some have done postdoctoral too. They are good in terms of teaching. We have the best time attending some of the faculty’s classes. Some teachers specifically focus on the GATE exam which is related to their core subjects.

Yes, there is a placement cell in my institute. They really helpful to provide placements for all the students of NIT Srinagar who are eligible to sit in placements. The students sit for placements and get selected in a company. Overall, the placement cell is good.

Yes, NIT Srinagar has residential facilities. Here, the hostel life is the best. There are 4 boy’s hostels and 3 girl’s hostels. There are so many sports facilities to do. Also, a park is available for you to chill out and relax. The only disadvantage about the hostel is that they provide 5 roommates in one room. The hostel infrastructure and mess facilities are good.

This institute has 10 lecture halls and 8 blocks. The labs have very good infrastructure. All departments have lab facilities except the Chemical department. The main building looks very awesome. There is a cricket ground, football ground, badminton court, basketball court, etc.

The overall campus life is good. This institute has the best infrastructure. Many parks and various things are available for the students to chill out. About 5 to 6 thousand students are studying here. Some clubs in this institution are Semicolon, IET on Campus, Sargam, Cultural and Soapbox club, Technology club, Stargazing club and the Rhetorical club. The big fest ‘Techvaganja’ is held in the month of May or June. The 2nd fest conducted is ‘Rangechinar’ which is held in September and October. Also, inter-departmental sports tournaments are held, which is good for the students. Many running competitions are organised here too. Overall, the campus life is good.
