My life at NIT, Patna

Overall Rating
My experience is quite good. I took admission in Electrical Engineering department in 2022. I was not happy with the campus as the old campus was very small. But now the new Bihta campus is quite big and beautiful. Let’s talk about faculty of my department. All professors are quite good. They are always ready to help the students in every situation.
 

Academics Rating
For taking admission in EE department. You should score 28k in JEE Mains and if you are from Bihar you will get some home state reservation. My motive to join this program was to do research on electrical vehicles as my hobby is to learn new concepts and theories.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are good. Special mention to Mandal Sir, our HOD who support us in every situation and Mala Ma’am who made our syllabus very easy to learn.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the institute provides placements opportunities. The placement rate for this year is about 80-85%.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are quite good. We got a double sharing room with two beds, two almirah, two study tables and a balcony facing Ganga river.
 

Infrastructure Rating
As mentioned earlier, our new campus building is good and beautiful, and it is away from town so there is no issue of traffic.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good. Just make new friends and explore all the new things in first year. From second year, try to balance your study and friendship.

    Overall experience in the NIT Patna is very good. I am doing my B.Tech from this institute which have two campus one at Ashok Rajpath road and another at Bihta.     When I came to National Institute of Technology Patna Bihar for physical reporting then I did not feel good because I thought NIT Patna will not be able to give me best campus and Institute life. But I didn’t have any other option than NIT PATNA. After completing my admission in this Institute I got best friend circle and they are equally more talented and logical.     I am a first-year student in the CSE department of this renowned Institute. I am giving this honest review through my experience to give proper perspective of institute through my eyes to the new aspirants. The campus is considered one of the smallest among NITs.     Just like most of the students, I also love my institute. In NIT Patna, you get the promised cultural mix and get to meet people from all over the country. The infrastructure is good and up-to-date. Faculty and curriculum is good.
