Christ University, Bangalore was started in 1969. Having received firsthand experiences of the university, I can confidently say that the university has excellent services to provide in every field, be it for academics or extracurricular. Education in university is not just focused upon academics, it has basis of holistic development of students leading them to develop their personalities in all aspects of life. Christ university is not just known in India but also it holds good recognition all over the world. It has integrations with foreign universities from USA, Korea as well as Netherlands for their student exchange programs.

Christ University is known for its comprehensive and diverse range of courses of Undergraduate, Post Graduate, Diploma and Post-Diploma level. Department of university include School of Commerce, School of Art, School of Sciences, School of Engineering, School of Professional studies, and School of Performing Arts among other departments. The university seeks to provide the best quality education to its students and the education comes from the highly professional and advances at the institute.

The university has built a good reputation over the years, particularly when it comes to its faculty. The teaching staff is often highlighted as one of the institution’s greatest strengths. As it offers great array of courses, the teaching staff plays an important role in providing quality education. Many professors hold doctoral degrees, many years of experience of teaching and research experiences.

The placements of the university are well known. When it comes to internships, there are very few companies like DE Shaw, Goldman Sacs, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte and Millennium that avail the internship opportunity. The companies generally come with an internship stipend of 30000 rupees per month. The placements that come for undergraduate students are really good. There you get multiple companies approaching you including the one mentioned in case of internship along with others like KPMG, JP Morgan, Chase, etc. The university has a significantly good placement rate like 70-80%.

The hostel provided by university is of average quality. It is also very strict rules, mostly in case of the closing time rules as the hostel gates get closed at 8 PM. The food you get in mess is mostly South Indian. Many facilities of the hostel have potential for the improvement.

The infrastructure of Christ University is quite good. The university is very big and provides you very good facilities for sports like separate grounds for basketball, cricket and football. The university has some amazing cafe and canteen options which provide all kind of cuisines and amazing food. The campus itself is very huge and gives lot of opportunities to explore the within the campus itself. The campus also provided you access to high speed Wi-Fi services at all time. The campus has good laboratories, libraries and modern well equipped classrooms.

The campus life of Christ University is the thing that most of the people look forward to. I feel very lucky to be able to experience it. It also provides a balanced academic and recreational environment. It’s a green and eco-friendly campus. The technologically advanced settings (like societies and events) provide good opportunities for growth and development. It has been recognized as the cleanest campus by many famous international organizations.
