Overall I suggest anyone who is willing to choose any NITs other than State colleges or willing to be in the tag of NIT should definitely choose this institute. The culture here is good; you will not have the feel of being separated and alone. Overall what matters is the skills and the placements we get and I believe from my 3.5 years of experience that you can get all those here.

Totally there are 9 branches currently being offered at NITA in Bachelors degree. Namely Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Electronics and instrumentation Engineering (EIE), Mechanical Engineering (MECH), Civil Engineering (CE), Production Engineering (PE), Chemical Engineering (CH), and Bio Engineering (BE). Dual degree is also available in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry Departments. So to enter into these courses you have to qualify and meet the criterion which is set by NTA (National Testing Agency), you can check the eligibility criteria on its website. I am enrolled in ECE. All the departments have good academic background, high number of patents, research teams, good research orientated lab activities and good structuring of academic calendar in the stress free manner.

Highly qualified doctorate professors with 25+ years experience in their domain with certified projects and researches. You can take the help from any faculty being from the lab assistance to the Head of the department without any hesitation. The faculties are always welcoming the new ideas they believe that we are the young generations and we have qualified the toughest exams in India so they encourage us in every aspect. We have dedicated and responsible faculty coordinators who keeps track of our academics and any help if needed. Finally it depends on the individual about how you utilize the opportunity here. If you believe that you-tube is far better than the boring classes, and then you might miss the real concepts and opportunities, and your degree will be only shown in the form of certificates.

Yes, we have a very dedicated placement Team; under the name of Center of Career Development (CCD) it includes Chairman, Vice Chairman, Assistant Training and Placement Coordinators & experienced Faculty Coordinators for placements and internships, Trainings. Apart from this there is selected student team from every department for placements and internships support who also acts as the bridge between Faculty of Placements teams and students. So each and every information will reach to students and there will be transparency in every aspect. Students can reach the placements team for any guidance, support and doubts regarding placements. We have 100% placements record, we have dedicated internships and training programs, active clubs, innovative ventures, IIC and Startups, Strong alumni network, collaboration and MOUs .So I suggest taking help from the faculty about the companies visiting for placements and follow the seniors advices on how they have cracked the offers.

Yes, we have a separate hostels for boys and girls and Ph.D scholars namely Aryabhatta, RNT and Howrah, Dhalai and Gomati these are for boys and Gargi hostel for girls. All the hostels have good free 2GB Wi-Fi facility, separate mess, gym, pleasant gardens, 24/7 security, quick and responsible Wardens, 24/ 7 ambulance facility, separate student mess committee members to plan the mess menu and sharing rooms for 1st to 3rd year B.Tech girls. For final years we have single rooms. Regarding boys, from 3rd year single rooms are allotted. Alumni have donated cycles to the girl’s hostel to use inside the campus too.

Each department has its own department building, with separate lab facilities, faculty cabins, and we have Academic complex, Central computing center, C-DAC center for Excellence, Student Activity Center, Seminar hall, Virtual Classroom, Auditorium, Sports complex, Shopping Complex, NITA Health Care Center, Canteens, Parks, and International Guest House where during admissions you have to pre-book using the form mentioned in NITA official website in order to get room before filling. Over all NITs and IITs, our sports complex is the biggest and most equipped one. All the activities, clubs are present in student activity center we call it as SAC building. There are faculty quarters too, and the in-time for girls is 7:30 PM. And in the campus itself the Tripura State Rifles are located I feel them as a security. We also have a 24/7 ATMS, Banks (SBI and Canara), and post office.

Since its seven sisters it’s with lush green, pleasant atmosphere. But we have to carry umbrellas since there will be times where temperature will be too high and don’t ever risk on rainy days. Winters are too cool luckily you will have winter vacation (1 month) for those cool days and the summer vacation (2 months). We have the biggest cultural fest MOKSHA for 3 days and technical fest 3 days. The biggest festival of Bengalis is Durga Pooja you will get 10 days holidays that's the most enjoyable days since you get to visit every beautiful pandals, lightning’s and all .The freshers also has a freshers party, dandiya night, and DJ nights every year. Regarding clubs you will have good competitive atmosphere with other colleges, national and international competitions in every field from research to games. There will be a chance to participate in intern NIT sports events. The overall campus life of the institute is amazing.
