AU is historical University

Overall Rating
I am here because University of Allahabad is very close from my house in comparison to other colleges, its fees is also very low and its infrastructure is top in comparison to other colleges. Currently I am doing B.Sc from Allahabad University. I will also do M.Sc from the same college. Taking admission here is not very difficult so I will suggest everyone to take admission here.
 

Academics Rating
There is no direct way to take admission in AU you have to fill application form and give entrance exams. Entrance exams are taken online and offline in both ways. There are many courses available in this university such as B.Sc, B.Tech, M.Tech, Diploma, MA. and many other courses are available here.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty here are well qualified and all are done PhD with top colleges like IIT BHU, IIT Delhi and other IITs. The faculty have also done PhD from AU. Classes are not so much regular but the Professor takes their classes regularly and their teaching method are also very good. Many professors publish their own research papers one of them is Dr. Thakur Prasad Yadav, Prof. K.N. Uttam.
 

Placement Rating
As my course is B.Sc. so there is no placement in this field but you can go for higher studies easily from here as it is reputed colleges. You can take placement in course such as B.Tech, MBA, You can go for PhD, M.Sc, and M.Tech easily if you are a student here and your marks are good.
 

Hostel Rating
There are many hostels here from different department You can get hostels from each department. It has 9 boys’ hostels and 6 girls’ hostels. But At least half students are from locals and half are from other cities. AU do not invest much money on Hostels.
 

Infrastructure Rating
It is top rated college in the field of Infrastructure. Its library offers more than 730000 books. Journals and other documentary materials are also available here As it is old institute its building are historical and beautiful with strong walls , It has garden, parks, Canteen, parking and many other essentials and useful things.
 

Campus Rating
Allahabad University Campus life is very good as it offers a variety of courses. Fests are organized here time to time. There are many clubs in which one of them is coding club, electrical forum. Here students election are held which is also called Kshatraneta Chunav.

    I am in BA LLB program at the University of Allahabad which was erstwhile regarded as the Oxford of East. You could get admission through CUET exam and you have to score decent marks for getting a seat in BA LLB at Allahabad University because it's one of the most demanding courses of AU.     The University of Allahabad is one of the most leading central universities, where students are admitted based on their CUET marks. Here, I will review the Law faculty of this university. Overall, the department stands as a distinguished part of the university. The Law faculty produces excellent alumni which are evident through the UP PCS J results.     After coming to this university, my overall experience has been very good. teachers are very helpful. Surroundings of Allahabad University are very study friendly. I chose this university because I have to prepare for civil services and in this university, there is concept of yearly exams. This allows students like me to prepare for other exams as well.     The overall experience in University of Allahabad is average. It is a central university so the infrastructure is good. The schedule is hectic and the faculty is highly qualified. The factor made me choose this particular institute is my IIT JAM exam preparation. The syllabus of this university is good.
