BJMC at VGU Jaipur: Eligibility, Fees, and More

VGU Jaipur is not just a university for students it is a home. It is a growing university in Rajasthan, good for the holistic development and for the studies of a student. The university gives an equal chance to the student of every stream. It hosts best events and takes care of all the industry developments for the candidate. We got the best teachers and support from the department. It has its own startup center too. It is a best option if you looking for CS, Design, or Management.

I was enrolled in BJMC. I want to work as a writer and need knowledge of the media industry. The criteria to join are candidate must have a good percentage in their 12th. There are 2 rounds, first is counselling round, in another one student meet the HOD of the respective department for better understanding about the course and teachers. In my course, there are 2 annual exams and 6 monthly exams. It gives a brief knowledge about the industry. There are many practical subject classes also.

I got the 25% scholarship by the university. I used to pay Rs. 75,000 for the annual fee. They take many other fees like costume fee, registration fees and extra expenses, which was Rs. 5,000. They offer a special scheme to the students of Bihar region. They provide many scholarships like scholarships for the girl child, for poor family, for the highest percentage students, etc. They give many sectors where a person can qualify for the same.

I got the best teachers. They give support throughout the university journey. The HOD of my department, Sanjay Sir, makes sure that every student gets the best outcome. The entire faculty never said no to any help and even provided extra classes when needed. When my batch mates requested to visit the industry, they allowed us. The teachers are well qualified and have experience in industry of 15 years. The teachers support students and solve their personal and student life problems by guiding them.

The placement cell is active throughout the year. The cell has a door for every department. It has a startup house, where they provide the chance to the new startup ideas. They give around 4 LPA to 5 LPA to the students as a placement offer. They have companies like Rajasthan Patrika, TATA and Zomato. They opened a program named as TED x VGU for training. The placement cell also focuses on giving internships to the students of every sector. I got a chance from the university to work at Rajasthan Patrika.

It provides well maintained hostels to students. There is different building for girls and boys. There are single, double and four sharing rooms for students. The food was average but good quality. The canteen food and options are the best. VGU Jaipur even has its own cafe in the university. Girls are allowed to walk in campus till 8 PM while boys are allowed till 10 PM. They need a pass to go out from the university. The hostel fee was round about Rs. 90,000.

The university infrastructure was too good. 30-acre space is there in the university. Different grounds for volleyball, football, basketball and for cricket are given. The campus is very green, surrounded by plants and tree, which gives a positive space. The walls are painted by the quotes and designs. They provide good classrooms. There are different labs for the courses. I had a media lab, in which we shoot and gives the news report. The university is so secure and safe especially for the girls. My favourite place was the dome where we used to sit and chill.

My campus life was very good, I learnt a lot of things about the university, about the industry and got platforms through my university to shine and polish my skills as a poet. The university is very crowed and that's why I got chance to meet different persons. In the university there are many clubs for writing, acting, singing, startups, social work, mental wellness, and dancing. We have an event named ‘Panache’, which was its annual event. Apart from that, there are hackathons, management course events and in my course, a Media meet. Hence, there are many small events for every department. VGU Jaipur is the best university that will give you holistic growth and best life experiences.
