JIMS Engineering Management Technical Campus has AC Classrooms

I am a third year student pursuing B.Tech in JIMS Engineering Management Technical Campus. My college life has been nothing but a joyful journey of academics and skill building. The faculty here portrays such a helpful and caring nature, they are always ready to adhere to the needs of the students. The hostel services are thoroughly commendable. Unless you live far away, the college is very easy to reach once you get the hang of the route. One special mention would be the food at the canteen; there is quite a variety and eateries available at an affordable rate. Though very flexible and student friendly, the decorum and discipline of the campus is always maintained. I would absolutely recommend taking admission in JIMS, Greater Noida.

At my college, they pay major attention to the GGSIPU Delhi curriculum. Regular tests and practice quizzes are conducted by our teachers. Since I am in third year which makes me eligible for GATE exam we even had a GATE mock test conducted in our college to help the students get an idea of the actual test. The syllabus is completed prior to the semester exams and there is a huge library with a diverse range of books which help students to clear out their concepts even more.

The fee structure was recently changed, for third year I paid Rs. 1,41,000/- which seems justified considering the facilities we receive here.

The best thing about JIMS Engineering Management Technical Campus is the faculty. While maintaining proper discipline of the class, the teachers are able to develop a very healthy relationship with the students. Each of the teacher has an in depth knowledge according to their allotted subject. The study material and notes provided by the faculty is more than enough for students to achieve wonderful scores in the examinations. All faculty members show a very kind and generous nature towards the students.

The placement cell plays a major role in helping students land great packages. Especially in courses like B.Tech and BCA, students here secure average packages of at least 25 Lakhs. Companies like Josh Technology, Accenture, and DXC Technology often hire achievers from our college.

Our college offers hostel services, earlier for boys only but now a girls' hostel is also under construction. The mess food is tasty, being a non-hostel student, it is still available to me at great prices. If you live far away, a hostel is much recommended as you can save a lot of time

Honestly our campus is not very huge but it does satisfy all the needs. The infrastructure has improved in the past three years. We have air conditioned classrooms, staircase art, well lit up rooms and a Wi-Fi service available at all times. The computer labs are expertly equipped and all the software required is installed as per syllabus. Not only that, we also have a basketball court, badminton court and cricket playing area. Along with the main canteen, there is a Nescafe which offers delicious food. We also have common girls room and boys room for practice of cultural events. There is an amphitheatre and seminar halls. Various sessions are conducted in the audio visual room which is again air conditioned and has projector display and recliner chairs.

The campus life is totally worth it. You will meet some amazing people here on the campus, it will indeed take some time to gel up but eventually you'll have a lifetime friendship group. The peers are very helpful in nature and fun to be with. Also the seniors, contrary to the belief, are very wholesome and generous. There is a fresher's party organised every year as well as a farewell party. We also have a fest called ZEST where you can enjoy concerts of globally famous artists like Raftaar, etc.
