Honest review NIT Trichy

Overall Rating
I always wanted to be an Engineer so since 11th class, I started preparing for the Joint Entrance Exam mains and Joint Entrance Exam advanced to get into the National Institute of Technology Trichy. It was once in a lifetime experience, I loved the college, it was big beautiful and helpful for my career. I had been with the right crowd on campus and participated in almost all the events. It was like my dream come true.
 

Academics Rating
I chose to do a Bachelor of Technology in Production Engineering. The entry requirements are you should score a decent amount of marks in your class tenth and twelfth final examination to qualify for Joint Entrance Exam Mains and Joint Entrance Exam Advanced and try to get a rank under 20,000 to get a seat in NIT Trichy production engineering department. My motivation for enrolling in this program was to become the best production engineer in our country and make my parents feel proud of me.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are very well and highly qualified, they have a tremendous amount of knowledge stored in them. They are just perfect to teach you production engineering. They all have done their higher studies at reputed International and National Universities like Harvard, Stanford, Indian Institute of Technology to name a few.
 

Placement Rating
Every student gets placed in big companies like HCL, Godrej, P&G, MRF, and Tata Motors to name a few.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have residential facilities available. There is a bed for two study tables, lamps, ceiling fans, chairs, and a cupboard to store belongings, the hostel has good mess and canteen facilities that provide tasty, healthy, and hygienic food at subsidised prices. The hostel has a playing area for volleyball, cricket, badminton, and kabaddi.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is spread over a large area with departments divided into different blocks. The infrastructure is very modern and up-to-date labs are well-equipped with all the necessary modern equipment. Water Purifier is installed everywhere to have safe and pure drinking water. Sports grounds and theatre are there for students to participate in extracurricular activities.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life was memorable and I enjoyed every bit of me being there, the crowd was very supportive and helpful. They did no ragging and no kind of groups existed even though there was no language barrier. Clubs such as dancing clubs, sports clubs, singing clubs, and acting clubs were there to participate. Fests were refreshing and cheerful it was very enjoyable and happened frequently.

    When I entered the campus for the first time first thing I noticed was the huge campus area and greenery all over with cleanness. The reasons why I choose National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli was its great academics, social life, location, and great placement result which were better than all NITs and some IITs as well.     My time in the campus is one of the most crucial in my life. NIT Trichy is number1 NIT among all the NITs in India, which is why I chose it. There are many students in institute because in NIT Trichy has various courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Sc plus B.Ed (integrated), M.Sc, MBA, PhD, etc. It has biggest campus (800 acres) and largest & oldest alumni network.     NIT Tiruchirappalli is a place like none other. Where does one even begin describing this place, it is a campus so vast that it would take your entire course span to even attempt exploring the entirety of it. The quality of students that study here are best, your peers will motivate you not just on the academic frontier, but also in all of the other walks of life.
