My experience in Allahabad University

Overall Rating
It is India's 4th oldest university after Calcutta, Bombay, and Madras. It has long historical, political and academic legacy. This university provided education to many eminent people e.g. –Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, Lal Bahadur Sastri, and Chaudhary Charan Singh and so on. Many eminent poets were also studied here.
 

Academics Rating
I enrolled for MA Geography. Entrance exam to be cleared to take admission here. Geography was very interesting subject. In fact geography is known as the mother of all sciences. It’s having different branches.
 

Faculty Rating
My Head of Department is Professor Anupam Pandey He was study in Remote sciences from European Space Agency. They did many researches. He taught Remote sensing and Geopolitics of the world. Another, Professor Azizur Rahman Siddiqui sir, the former HOD of University of Allahabad, currently he is designated at the post of Indian Association of Geography.
 

Placement Rating
Generally placement are not there in the fields of Arts especially Geography subject.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, University of Allahabad consisting of 7 Boys hostel and 3 Girls hostel with proper lodging and boarding facilities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The Building of university of Allahabad having magnificent and oldest built by British in the year 1867. The building of science department is very beautiful. In arts faculty is with lush greenery and beautiful lofty building. The vice chancellor office is in the Senate campus. I study in geography department where imminent geographer Prof Savindra Singh teaches us.
 

Campus Rating
The campus is very beautiful covers with beautiful flowers and tree. Inside the campus many old Banyan tree, Jack fruit trees, mangoes trees are available. The students of University of Allahabad are hard working. Majority of student comes from low income and middle income group family.

    I am in BA LLB program at the University of Allahabad which was erstwhile regarded as the Oxford of East. You could get admission through CUET exam and you have to score decent marks for getting a seat in BA LLB at Allahabad University because it's one of the most demanding courses of AU.     Overall Rating
    The University of Allahabad is one of the most leading central universities, where students are admitted based on their CUET marks. Here, I will review the Law faculty of this university. Overall, the department stands as a distinguished part of the university. The Law faculty produces excellent alumni which are evident through the UP PCS J results.     After coming to this university, my overall experience has been very good. teachers are very helpful. Surroundings of Allahabad University are very study friendly. I chose this university because I have to prepare for civil services and in this university, there is concept of yearly exams. This allows students like me to prepare for other exams as well.     The overall experience in University of Allahabad is average. It is a central university so the infrastructure is good. The schedule is hectic and the faculty is highly qualified. The factor made me choose this particular institute is my IIT JAM exam preparation. The syllabus of this university is good. It is best for the students who are preparing for government examinations like UPSC, UPPCS, banking, etc. Allahabad is known for the city of student preparing for government examinations....
