Till now my overall experience in the institute is good. The institute is very good with holding its legacy from many years. If we talk about the peer group, it is really very good because there are peoples from different cultures and different countries which lead you to learn many new things which will help you to grow your personality. The only thing which I see before taking admission to this college is its placement which is really good.

Currently I am pursuing Chemical Engineering in this college. Strength of my batch is 60 students. For taking in the B.Tech course you have to clear JEE Mains and have to appear in JOSAA counseling. I choose this branch because its course structure is not that hectic, and you do your other side hustle along with the course. And it has better scope in the future.

Faculty of the college is awesome, they are well qualified and highly experienced, 2-3 faculty members are among the top 5 % scientist in the world. However, few of them are not so good as they don't take interest in students. And just done their formalities of completing the syllabus. If you behave good with them then they will give you good grades otherwise if you are not behaving good, then they will give you poor marks no matter how good you perform in the exams.

Yes, we a Placement Cell which do a lot for students at the time of internships and placements. The college is known for its best placements among all NITs and it after top 7 IITs. The average package of the college this year was 20.3 LPA and the highest package this year was 1.5 Cr per annum.

From all the hostels only, few hostels are in good conditions which are constructed recently but the condition of the old hostels is really very pathetic. The mess facility is just okay and sometime very poor. There is triple occupancy room given in the first year, double occupancy in second year and single occupancy in third and final year. But for girls there is triple occupancy in first year and double occupancy in remaining years.

Infrastructure is not as good of this college as it is old. But they are focusing to improve it day by day. There are 2 academic buildings in the college one is for B.Tech and PhD students and other is for M.Tech, MBA, MCA students. College has a big and well occupied library, a big athletics ground, different courts for different sports, separate gym for both girls and boys, a big hall for events, total 10 hostels 7 for boys and 3 for girls. Neat and clean roads with full of security for students.

Campus Life is very decent in of the college one can enjoy it by hanging out in different cafes which are made up in the campus boundaries. You can make friends from different states and in fact from different countries too. The campus is not too big but yes, it is well maintained. There is a cultural fest naming CULRAV which held once in a year which held for 3 days many singers and personalities come in the fest and there is an annual technical fest which also held once in a year in this fest students represent their projects on different streams. There are many innovative clubs in the college like robotics, coding, Rotaract, green club, etc.
