My honest review of NITK

Overall Rating
Being a 2nd year student, I feel I am qualified to give a review of NITK College. Being here for 2 year I can say that no one should judges any college by checking its online reviews as each student have its own difficulty in college. If you join this college you will get a great exposure which will surely help you to grow. This college has great coding culture and getting a good package totally depends on you.
 

Academics Rating
Academic wise this college is very serious regarding attendance. Our attendance gets updated regularly on our college app "IRIS". You will get to learn many courses which may not be part of your branch. There are plenty of teachers who will not suit you but there also such teachers who are always ready to help you.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are very active here. You will never face any issues regarding faculty. I have no negative review about faculty as they are very strict about our grades and attendance. They even provide extra class if you find any difficulty in learning.
 

Placement Rating
Every branch Placement Cell is different. I am from mining department from stats and my seniors advice I can assure you that 90% students gets placed in core and most of them gets into software.
 

Hostel Rating
Honestly I faced so many difficulty in 1 year to survive especially mess food didn't suit me. Here you can change your mess every month if you face any issues. We have separate mess for veg and non veg. Sometimes you face water issues. We never face any light issues but sometimes you may get weak network and you need to have Ethernet connection in that situation.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure wise this college has best buildings. The campus is green and has best sport culture. We have our own private beach which is just 1 km away from our hostels. The night life is also very great here. Every branch has its own separate department. Our college is separated by a national highway.
 

Campus Rating
If you are joining this college you going to have the best campus life for 4 years. After 1 year you will not have any block timing so you can move in and out of your hostel anytime. You have security guards everywhere which is good for women's safety. I have never faced and seen any bullying scenes here.

    I am studying at Nation Institute of Technology, Surathkal, Karnataka. As I am here for 2 months, I am experiencing a very good culture, nature, and infrastructure here. Students come here from all over the India as this college is one of top 5 NITs. I chose this particular college because of its environment and all other things like faculties and all. Others should also come here as it is giving a very good culture, best faculties, best alumni and all, so in short It is a very beautiful campus.... Read Full Review

    National Institute of Technology Karnataka is an elite engineering Institute in the country. The campus is located around National Highway 66. The campus has lush green trees. The beach is pleasant to view from the campus, and there are a lot of places to visit nearby the campus. Mangalore is nearby it is a must visit place in the state.... Read Full Review

    The campus of institute is huge, approx. 300 acres and full of greenery. The ranking of this institute is 2nd among NITs and 10th in engineering institute and it has beach so you can enjoy during weekends. The weather of Surathkal is very sunny.     Overall Rating
    I got to this institute through JEE mains exam for engineering purpose. I think this is the best institute in Karnataka. Its NIRF ranking is also somewhere around 12. The people who write JEE exam know the importance of this institute. The college is wonderful nice infrastructure and this is the only NIT with their own private beach. Also college conducts many fests and all which keeps you busy in enjoying.... Read Full Review
