The overall review for this college should be that it is amazing and extraordinary. The academics, placement stats, internships, major companies that visit here, and its location and the freedom provided by this institute to students is all the reasons for me to pursue B.Tech here. I shall say that this does not let me miss my home.

The academics of this institute is remarkable. The progress done by this institute's faculty and its student is extraordinary. I am saying this because it has to be in one of top NITs. It is of now regarded as tier 1.5. In order to get admission you have to clear JEE MAINS. All the major engineering courses are provided here. Category reservation also availed here.

The faculties are all Ph.D holders or have done M.Tech in their respective subjects and most of the time you will be entertained by their ways of teaching. Mechanical Department of here is best and also counted among in the top NITs and CIVIL, CSE, etc. are very good too. The electrical department here is not very good and is because of lack of competent authorities.

The placements are better than many other colleges and that is why it has ranked 40 on ranking. Many big companies visit the campus every year. There is Training and Placements Cell that is responsible for inviting companies and managing placements and internships.

The hostels are the best part of such institute and in this institute the hostels are very well managed and they give homelike feels. First year is allotted Gajjar Bhawan and it is a wonderful hostel. The meals provided here are also very good and they are consisting of all the Indian food. The infrastructure of hostel is pretty amazing.

There are 9 hostels and lecture halls and a very big playground. The auditorium here is very large and has projectors to ease the understanding. There are 2 cafes in here that are open 24*7 and they have almost all that you need. The hostels are a beautiful part of its infrastructure. The canteens are quite affordable.

Campus life is the most important prospect of any college/institute and I firmly believe that this has one of the best. There are so many dogs and peacocks in campus and it is also full of greenery. The students are allowed outside the campus till 11:30 PM and there are not many restrictions on students. You will not feel bad coming here on the contrary you will tell others to come here too. There are techfest and cultural fest here too. Techfest is priority for all students.
