My Review on LPU

Overall Rating
University is a place you would enroll for with deep research on overall things it is offering. Now when it comes to LPU, we all know its best known for its industrial connection, CSE advancements and MBA branch. The university in itself is huge with 600 acres of campus area with diverse crowd of students and faculties. You can have a good network to start with. It has neat curriculum and discipline.
 

Academics Rating
Academics are quite refined here. LPU adhere serious strictness when it comes to academics as the students need to perform three to four CAs in each subject apart from mid semester and end semester. The CAs is not only theory based but also has practical CAs which needs to be done and present to the teacher performing viva. The exam pattern keeps the student concerned about the grades and keeping them proactive.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty of LPU has high standard qualifications and most important thing is that the faculty here knows how to teach and keep the students attentive in the classroom. They often start every topic with live example and explain the topic with reference to that example so that it would be imaginative and keep the student focused to the teaching which is greatly admired. And if we talk about the non-teaching faculty then they are always around you to help you through anything possible on their part.
 

Placement Rating
Placements of LPU are the thing which attracts most students towards LPU. Here the top companies if I would speak are Google, IBM, Bosch, Deloitte, JP Morgan, HCL and these companies take the students with their high end skills and give a good amount of package. If I would speak about the mass recruiters then they are Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture and others that give the lowest package of 3.5 LPA and hire the students. The average package is 6.5 to 7 lakh and highest is 64 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel / residential facilities are quite good here in LPU. The corridors are cleaned twice a day, so the sanity thing is assured. And you must be worried about the security thing and let me tell you there are over 500 cameras here in hostel areas and 24x7 security guards. So you are definitely safe. The wardens of hostel are also very supportive and helpful. They resolve the issue immediately after the reporting of student. You will find a helpful and supportive crowd over here.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of LPU no doubt is world class. The structures of building are done by professional architect. Each building has either nine or ten floors. There are nearly 100 building inside the campus and you must be thinking, it’s quite packed but not the things is they have made the building in such a way that the classes are spacious and also the area around the buildings are big enough to accommodate heavy crowd. After all these buildings they have three to four parks where students can spend their free time with friends.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life of LPU is quite astonishing. They have event inside the campus regularly. These events can be fashion show, modeling, singing, dancing, act, and not only these but also the tech expos and tech events like workshops, hackathons, competitions and public speaking like stuffs that keep the students engaged and proactive in both academics and co-curricular activities to show their talent. With these, LPU also organizes EDM nights where students can have fun with their friends.

    To be honest this college was not my first choice I attempted IPMAT exam for admission in IIM Indore but couldn't crack it. So I went through lot of websites on internet and came across LPU. They were providing this course under 15 lakhs whereas other colleges like Nirma had fees up to 30 lakhs. When I came to University I was amazed to see it's beautiful campus, large and surrounded by gardens and trees. People from all over India are there in LPU and there is no ragging.     I did a very deep research and chose LPU Jalandhar. I think it’s one of the best private Universities that a student can get with such great and highly skilled faculty.     My experience with Lovely professional University has been fascinating. I am enrolled in an Animation course. I went for this university after a lot of research and consideration.
