LSR- My Overall Experience

Overall Rating
As one of you experimenting with the preference list I also mentioned top colleges of Delhi University, all the north campus colleges and LSR from the south campus. After going through all the reviews and vlogs of colleges, I also dreamt for Hindu but destiny took me to LSR, the best I can get.
 

Academics Rating
History department in LSR is amazing to next extent. Always engaged in enriching the knowledge of students. My motive of choosing this from is same as other humanities stream student.
 

Faculty Rating
Talking about faculty, the best in whole DU. Professors will have an experience of 20+ years and the way they teach you is very easy to understand. They provide you with best and also take your doubts even though it is silly.
 

Placement Rating
We do have placement cell on our college that provides us with number of opportunities along with these opportunities from niti ayog. That will enhance your skills.
 

Hostel Rating
We don't get the opportunity to get the hostel as it was under construction.
 

Infrastructure Rating
LSR is known for its red walls and lawns. Our college had won 20 green cups for the beauty of our campus such a vibrant place to hangout, study or anything. Squirrels of LSR are another element to this. Our college had old and new building along with amphitheater and gazebos, gym area and courts for football and basketball and sports room. It also offers students with NSO, NCC and NSS. College also had labs for computer science and psychology students.
 

Campus Rating
LSR campus provides you with opportunity to interact with the crowd coming from different parts of country. The events organised by the students union of college includes, Bahubhashi, Jagriti, Mental Wellness and more. Other events are such as Diwali Mela, NCC veerangna and at last our college fest Tarang. The hype is not exactly worth it but it is amazing.

    The course I chosen is Journalism because I wish to pursue a career in editorial or PR in the future. To get admission in BA (Hons.) Journalism, you need to qualify CUET exam. The first round cutoff for this year was 770/800. For CUET, there are two available subject combinations to qualify. Any 3 subjects that are in list B and that you’ve studied in class 12th plus English, or general test & English. The admission process is quite simple and it’s online.     Before coming here, I was so skeptical whether I would find any genuine person or girls would be toxic, but to my surprise everything is so nice here, the people, the environment, the work culture, infrastructure everything. So, if anyone getting LSR New Delhi, just go for it you are not going to regret at all. Seniors are so helpful, people are so kind, and faculty is also amazing, so overall it is a good experience.     I loved my experience in this college. Being a first year student pursuing Economic (Hons.), I think the glorified picture of Lady Shri Ram College pictured outside DU, is indeed true. Particularly for economics, this is genuinely the best college. I have gained both knowledge and confidence here. The campus itself is very beautiful with lush green lawns the iconic red brick architecture of DU. There are many societies here, covering everything a student may be interested in.     My overall experience at Lady Shri Ram College is very good. The campus of the college is very good and Friendly. The environment of our college is very safe and feels like home. All the teachers and students are supportive and help us when we need. It's a girls college so we can stay here without any fear.     My learning experience has been truly amazing with amazing teachers, curriculum and all. I chose this college because of its popularity, good placements and quality education. It is very different from other colleges in terms of security and environment. It is much better than any other DU college like this college is completely ragging free, stays away from protests and university elections, giving a complete focus on education.
