Overall Rating
VIT, Pune is a pretty good college If you want to focus more on extracurricular rather than being a nerdy engineer. The exposure you will get in this college is surely unmatchable by any other Institute like COEP, VJTI, etc. Faculty is decent I must say and curriculums which they follow really justify the autonomous college. There is fewer burdens of academics and there is more time to invest on yourself and on your skills and extracurricular activities.
 

Academics Rating
I am a software Engineer at VIT, Pune. Clearly the name Justifies my branch and so does my course. It does not have Physics and chemistry in my Curriculum like other colleges. All the skills required to become a good software Engineer are being taught. Here the faculty is decent. You will need to learn things on your own rather than just depending on lecture. The Cut-off is 99% for our branch which says how the students are in the respective branch and also the mode of Examination is also online and Presentation base which helps a lot.
Fee structure varies from student to student depending upon their cast and mode of admission like if you are a girl than you will have to pay less fees as compare to boy of same caste and background. A great fee wavier is provided according to different category and if you are from general category fees structure can be a problem to you as its 2 lakh per annum.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is well educated and has hands on experience in teaching as well as in Industry. They are qualified form different Institutions like IIT’s and NIT’s and well know Institutes from Maharashtra. We are developing the faculty and Institute has also developed the modern ways such as no paper ideology and PPT, Projector and modern technology in Teaching student and Making them trained for professional work. Personally I don't like methodology of selective teacher but it may vary from student to student.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are great as its Pune, the "IT Hub" and opportunities you will seek here are insane. Placements are really great sometimes as it's affected by lays off.
 

Hostel Rating
Yeah, the college does provide some Hostel for residence but I didn't choose college hostel so I can't say much about it. Although definitely you can find better facilities around rather than going for hostels.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is great as it has good lush green campus with a good big ground. The grounds for sports like basketball, volleyball and Cricket are well maintained along with college building. Basic facilities are provided by the college like parking, EV charging points are provided in college itself, etc. Good security all the times is provided with guards. The classrooms are also good with decent surrounding and ambience. Projectors, boards and benches are also provided.
 

Campus Rating
Here comes my Favorite part the "Campus life ". The college is great for campus life as it has many events going on every single week. You are free to participate in it without any issue. Some may be paid some may be free but there is all worth it. Friends that I have are all amazing. Fests organized are mind blowing and there are approximately 50+ clubs of all genres. It's just has been two months and I am able to write all this, imagine about 4 years.

    To start with a summary of VIT Pune, I feel that it is definitely a place that everyone should consider while studying for MHT CET.     VIT is a very good college for placements and infrastructure. The teachers are better but the syllabus is amazing. It is different from other colleges and my experience here was very good.     Overall Rating
    After merger of two Institutes, VIIT (VIT Kondhwa) and VIT Pune, this became easier for me to get admission in Tech branches. In other branches also faculty members are well experienced and the curriculum is well designed after the merger of both Institutes. For CS and CS related branches almost same syllabus is there.
