Affordable Excellence: LSR's Fee Structure

My journey in LSR started in 2023 after giving CUET. I wanted to do my bachelors from a top Delhi University College. The main reason to choose this college was its NIRF ranking and placement ratio. It is a reputed college. I have been a part of LSR for almost one and a half year now and the journey there has been like a rollercoaster. Its beautiful yet difficult sometimes. The opportunities are immense and almost everything is held by the students themselves. LSR helps you grow, it changes you for the good.

LSR being a top college in India has the best courses available. It has top professors who have great teaching style and work ethics. I chose to pursue B.Com hons. as I am from commerce background and a CA aspirant. It just makes things easy. An eligibility criterion differs from course to course. Everyone should give CUET exam to be a part of Delhi University and the subjects for CUET differ from course to course. The fee if we talk about is different for each course but It doesn't exceed Rs. 22,000 per year.

For B.Com Hons., we can fees yearly and it does not exceed Rs 22,000 per year. There are no other charges apart from that. There is Fee scholarship also provided for economically weaker students.

The faculty at LSR is great and is highly experienced. The faculty of commerce department at LSR is really good. They have great experience, expertise and most importantly a helpful nature. Their method of teaching differs from faculty to faculty. The faculty is always open to answer our questions and help us with our problems. Professors are not only associated with the curriculum but are also associated with college societies and Student union.

Campus placement in LSR is one of the major reasons why students choose LSR. Although it also depends upon which course you are enrolled in like Commerce department at LSR and economics department are eligible for almost every company. Reputed companies like Accenture, Barclays, HUL, McKenzie and many more come to LSR. The Highest package offered in 2021 is Rs. 37.8 LPA and the Average stood at Rs. 7.5 LPA and around 175 companies offered placement offers to 193 students. This number is enough to understand the brand value of LSR in the real corporate world. The college has its own placement cell and its functioning is very smooth. The placement cell at LSR makes sure the CV’s are vetted by them before providing it to any company and the placement cell is very strict with its policies as well. Not only placements, good internships and part time internships are also provided by the placement cell.

The college hostel is under construction and is not currently available. The hostel is only provided to first years.

The college campus is one of my favorite parts. It is beautiful and fun fact about it is that it always gets the Green Cup. There are two buildings - old and new. There are common areas. There are two conference halls as well. Each class has projector. Auditorium is big enough to hold 700 people at once. There is amphitheater and a peace center in college as well. There is tut block in those classrooms. The college has a canteen, a Nescafe booth and a mother dairy booth. The food at college in canteen is affordable and yummy.

College crowd at LSR is very diversified. Everyone at LSR becomes a feminist. The college has variety of societies and clubs that provide you with great exposure and I would recommend everyone to be a part of them. The annual fest at LSR is Tarang which is beautiful but I would say It’s not like that other colleges like SRCC or Hindu. The campus life at LSR for me has been full of learnings and has developed me into a better person. I would say that if you are a part of LSR just wait till the magic of LSR clicks.
