Excellent Academics at GLA University Mathura

Overall Rating
GLA University Mathura was already 30 years old when I joined and therefore I decided to take admission here. As I have finished four years and this year will be full of internship opportunities as we have been given a leeway from our University to skip lectures if we are searching for career options.
 

Academics Rating
Academics here focused on the positive side of Indian Legal System or Law Studies. GLA University Mathura teaches us the practical aspects of defending Indian Legal System. There are many research centers at our University and we were free to do our own research and send it for publication. Law students in these many years have over 10000 plus publications under them from our University. Thus, our academics didn't just enrich us but gave us freedom to enhance our favorite subject though publications.
Rs. 1,40,000 was precisely the overall yearly fees and Rs. 78,000 for the hostels.
 

Faculty Rating
All the faculties were so experienced and had so much charisma in them that their presence in the classroom was enough. The best quality of theirs was that they were always positive and even though they were LLM themselves, they explained that LLB itself opens so many doors for us. I can ask the questions to the faculties directly and they will help us anytime.
 

Placement Rating
Our university has done well as every year we see placements numbers going up but for law school of the university it has been average.
 

Hostel Rating
In 2021, there were 11 boys’ hostels and now there are almost 15. Over 400 students stay in a single hostel and hostels have IP cameras and all the safety features like smart card entry or fire alarms. University hostels are comfortable.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus is big but the best is that even though it's close to the highway, we still have so much greenery that outside noise is almost cut-out. Out of all the facilities I felt cafeteria was one place where I have spent more time than any other facilities of the University. There are so many gardens inside the University and most hostel rooms had the garden view.
 

Campus Rating
Our campus gives opportunities to work in research centres and publish our works. So, talk with faculties and students whose articles were published and take their help in projects. Hostels had their separate activities and fests, and University had their own. Our University annual fest ‘Spandan’ was always special as many poets and artists were called every year, and last year my favourite Rajat Sood came and performed at our University.

    The University are working on every aspect and the syllabus is good. One thing I really like is that the campus is near me. Another feature I liked is that they take codethon from the first semester itself. The crowd is also decent here. They also have workshops, and there are several clubs like CSED in which we can participate after our lectures.     The university academics is above average than other private institutes. The placement opportunities are also better; my university does not brag about the high packages but also provides them. I chose this university because others were very far from my hometown. The university provides industry-based training by companies.
