Christ University is one of the most prestigious and well-known institutions in the state. It has a great campus and state of the art facilities. It provides a good studying environment and also supports extra-curricular activities. I studied Bachelor of Business Administration course at Christ University. The college creates proficient individuals to tackle all sorts of managerial challenges. It helps in the holistic development of students by enabling conceptual clarity, critical thing, and enhanced communication skills. Personally, the college prepared me with a positive attitude for good performance in job roles and committed service to do so. The college offers vast possibilities for those who wish to explore beyond the boundaries of the curriculum.

Christ University BBA Entrance Exam involves an entrance test and an interview. Further, a merit list based on both will be put up and admission to the course can be completed. The XII grade marks are not the main criteria for admission to commerce undergraduate courses here. Rather, the entrance test and the interview have logical questions to understand your view and goals concerning the course.

Christ University BBA course is one of the best in the country. It sets you on the right path for careers in management. Although some parts of the curriculum may seem irrelevant and basic for the current industry scenario, guest lectures, field-visits make up for it in providing real-world exposure. The college helped me in shaping my thoughts and understanding of business effectively. I was provided with a perfect platform to build a good career in the management field by laying a strong foundation with regard to knowledge and competence. The college trained me in using theoretical knowledge to design sustainable solutions to solve real-world management problems. Christ University also has scholarships for students who excel in academics.

The curriculum might seem suffocating with loads of assignments and projects, but for me, it helped to keep up with the subjects. The college takes up mandatory continuous internal assessment programs to track students’ progress. There is a mandatory moral education class that might seem unnecessary and an extra burden. The strict attendance policy and a vast curriculum may not offer a lot of free time when studying in this college.

The college has a highly qualified and well-experienced faculty. In my opinion, though most lecturers seem to be strict, they help provide valuable insights and improve in academics. The senior faculty might not be easily accessible, but the rest helps the students just fine. The faculty constantly pushes you to achieve better results. The course's curriculum laid focus on research-based learning and more practical applications to make us industry-ready.

The college arranges webinars, conferences to bring emphasis on current happenings in the field and to help students update themselves.

The college helps in getting internships right from the second year of the course. They also provide placement training to get thorough with aptitude and group discussion rounds. The range of salary package offered by the recruiters on the campus ranges from Rs. 2.5 lakhs – Rs. 8 lakhs per annum. Business analysts, HR analysts, and financial analysts are some of the common job titles offered by the recruiters. Some of the major companies that conduct campus placements include Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Accenture, Google, Target, and Goldman Sachs.

Students who show interest throughout the course period easily get placed in campus placements. During our batch the placement from campus was nearly 90% which was a record. As most of us after spending 3 years in Bangalore always wanted to settle down in Bangalore and most of us finally got job in Bangalore as well. All thanks to Christ University whose placement history is unmatched thus far.

The college has four hostels for girls and boys close to the campus. These hostels are clean and well-maintained. They offer good food with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Hostels have a strict-time curfew. The hostels also have amenities like gymnasium and laundry.

There are plenty of paying-guest and bachelor's room accommodations available around the campus, which can be more expensive than hostels. The area in which the campus and the hostel are located has all basic amenities easily accessible.

The college has well-furnished, well-designed, and spacious classrooms. There is also a state-of-the-art library, auditoriums, and labs. There are two big libraries within the campus with thousands of books, combined with an online repository as well. There is also Wi-Fi facility throughout the campus. There are a total of four blocks on the campus and the infrastructure varies quite a lot depending on the department.

The campus can feel crowded at times with thousands of students from different departments and blocks. There are basketball, volleyball, badminton, and football fields within the campus. There are about 18 food outlets within the campus, where you get pretty much everything. The campus also has an ambulance service for health emergencies.

The campus is vibrant as students from various parts of the country and the world study there. The college also celebrates all religious and regional festivals. Ethnic days bring together cultures and traditions of people belonging to various ethnicities and it is a whole new experience within it. As a female, I feel the campus has high gender equality and there is no discrimination of any sort. Sports and games facilities are great, and college supports taking part in inter-college and other competitions, while also providing training for it. Industrial visits are held by the college and it is fun to be part of it. The location of the campus is good and has plenty of places to hang out with friends. The seniors are also friendly and helpful about academic and career guidance. The campus has network jammers as the use of mobile phones is prohibited. There is an active student union to raise any sort of concerns or issues to the management.

There are several clubs for students to take part including drama, entrepreneurship, literature, social service, photography, and others. The college expects students to be punctual with timing and attendance. The campus is a happening place and there is always one or the other technical, cultural, sports, or management events going on. College fests are entertaining but get crowded. It is a great place for those who want to explore talents as they get to meet like-minded individuals and talents on the campus.
