I have very good opinion on IIIT Kota as I took admission through the JoSAA Counseling as I got very low percentile as compared to others. After searching for many colleges I finalized IIIT Kota as it has good placements as compared to other IIITs. Some of my friends also suggested me about this institute.

I chose CSE (Computer Science Engineering) branch in the college because it is the fastest growing platform right now and I have very much interest in computers. For admission some documents are required such as Caste Certificate, Birth Certificate, Aadhar Card, Pan Card, Health Report, 10th and 12th Mark Sheets, etc. The eligibility criteria are different for different castes. My main motive to enroll in this course is because I have an interest and ambition to become a software engineer.

IIIT KOTA has a very good faculty and they are very qualified. They teach very well as their teaching skills are quite good. They teach in Hindi and English both languages as per our convenience. They even teach twice or thrice if we are not able to understand and raise a question. They help us in the labs and provide us with assignments so that we can gain knowledge on that subject deeply. They also provide us PDFs from the reference sources so that we can study easily. All the teachers have completed their PhD in their specific domain from top institutions like IIT, NIT, or IIT. All of them are well qualified and talented.

Yes, there is a placement cell at the institute and the coordinators of the cell bring top companies to the college like Amazon, Google, Flipkart, etc. so that the students can get placed. They even have ties with good companies like Oracle and they are building a good network within the country. Students will be qualified to sit for the interviews if they have good CGPA and the projects done by them. This institute has a good success rate in placements.

We don’t have our own campus right now and we will be shifting soon to our campus. The hostels are just average. The rooms are not that good and the food that is also provided is average.

Right now our college is in the campus of MNIT and it has good infrastructure with many facilities. It has separate blocks like Prabha Bhawan for Office and VLTC for Academics and Library. There is a Sports Complex Block for indoor sports. Our college that is under construction is very good and I can say this because I have seen the photos. I just wish we move to our campus really soon.

My campus life has been very good in all the aspects. We don’t have much crowd because we only have 2 branches. There are many clubs in the college like Neon, Fit India, Capture, etc. and we cam improve our communication skills and leadership skills through participating in these clubs. We have fests like Blitz and many more and the students are the organizers of the events and fests.
