Overall Rating
The overall experience has been good in the college. I made new friends and the reputation and placement offers made me choose this institute. I recommend to get into this college as it is very good college and you will have good chances to get into any company. The teachers are very co-operative.
 

Academics Rating
There are multiple courses available like CSE, ECE, EE, MECH, CIVIL, and also M.Tech. The B.Tech requirements are good rank in JEE Mains and M.Tech is good rank in GATE exam. Motive is to get engineering degree from reputed college. It is one of the best colleges in Punjab. So, academics are good.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is very supportive. They take classes regularly and teach very well. They clear all the doubts of the students and they take test regularly. They also provide some extra time to come into classes. Teachers are very good and co-operative. They understand students very well.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, it called TPO in our college. It holds all authorities and rights for calling companies to our college.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are 6 hostels in our college. There are 4 boys hostel and remaining two are girls hostels. They are properly built with washrooms and each hostel has a separate mess and common room where there are some indoor games kept like chess and table tennis.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infra of PEC is good and well built. There is some old building as college is very old. But some are new as well. The new academic block for students has been built recently. There are two grounds, swimming pool and gym inside the college and athletic ground as well.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life is good as I made good friends and got some good support from seniors as well. There are multiple clubs which you can join according to your interests and there are fests every year as well. Multiple events of the cultural clubs and technical societies often take place.

    Punjab Engineering College is a well known and very reputed college. College provides very good placement opportunities and internship opportunities. But, the campus itself does not have modern infrastructure and classes are not air conditioned.   • Career Prospects and Placements at Punjab Engineering College

    It has been a good experience till now in Punjab Engineering College. I am currently pursuing my UG from Computer Science Engineering from here. I joined this college due its high placements and internship opportunities. It’s a government funded technical institution. The institute is around 100 years old.     The college has a great location and past. It is located in Chandigarh which provides a beautiful surrounding and atmosphere. Being a JEE student, You would always like to have a good college to complete your B.Tech degree. PEC, Chandigarh is considered better than even many NIT's and IIT's which made me choose this college.     The college overall is great. The infrastructure is okay but the environment is good and there is literally zero ragging. The senior junior interaction here is very good and professors are very dedicated towards their work. The college gives a very happy kind of a vibe.     Punjab Engineering College, has lot of prestige, and boasts a strong reputation. It is one of the top leading institutes for engineering.
