Good University in Shikohabad

Overall Rating
Low placement rate in the recent years has led to decrease in the number of students in JS University. However, it is taking steps to increase placements. My experience is good until now. If you want to take admission in this university, I will suggest you to take admission in non-Science courses.
 

Academics Rating
Course option is limited in this university. For my choice of specialization, only BA program was available. There are no eligibility test for non-science courses like BA and B.Com but if you have opted science course like B.Tech or B.Sc., you have to give entrance test. If someone has given Joint Entrance Exam or JEE, he is also eligible to take admission in this university. Overall, all teachers are very friendly with students. Course curriculum is very relevant and makes students industry ready. However, there are some courses, which needs updating.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are good. All professors are highly qualified in their respective subjects. Their method of teaching is excellent. Generally, faculty members focus on practical learning more than theoretical learning.
 

Placement Rating
As mentioned earlier, placement percentage is usually low. Most of the students get off campus placement. However, there are some opportunities of internship in which some scholarships are provided.
 

Hostel Rating
Currently, university not providing hostel facility but it has promised that it will provide this facility in near future.
 

Infrastructure Rating
JS University’s infrastructure is good and well maintained. It is very new university that established in 2015. University has a well-maintained physical library as well as a digital library. All students can access library with a library pass. no extra charges are taken for library pass. Each department has separate building within the university. Most of the classrooms are air-conditioned.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good. Most of the students are from home state. Students have fun together. There is a park in the campus in which I usually go in the evening. Fests are organized on an annually basis. Every year, fresher’s party is organized to introduce new students or freshers.

    Overall, it is a very good educational institution in Uttar Pradesh. My experience in this university has been quite good. It is a reputed university in the state. The academics and social life here are top-notch. My course was B.Tech. (Mechanical). I chose this university as well as this branch because of few reasons; firstly, the placements for B.Tech.
