Overall Rating
Overall, I would say the college is excellent as it is an IIT and the best engineering college all over INDIA. It provides best infrastructure, facilities, and Funding. The campus life is excellent, with many amenities and fests. Everyday there is a festival here and we have full on enjoyment. You have to clear JEE Advance exam to get here.
 

Academics Rating
The overall academics at IIT Kharagpur are good. You can enjoy and have fun while maintaining a good CGPA. Here academics are just a part of your college life and there are much more things to do. You know the admission here is through JEE ADVANCED. So, prepare and give your best. There are just 2 exams in a semester.
There are many scholarships at IIT that are provided on the basis of caste, whether you are SC, ST, OBC or general. Scholarship is also granted on the basis of your family income. There is fees concession on the basis of your academics, family income and caste. So, do not worry about the fees just give your best and clear JEE. The overall fees is Rs. 1.1 Lakh for tuition fee and Rs. 40,000 for the hostel and mess.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties at IIT are all scientists and scholars. They are big names in their subjects and generally with many national and international awards. They are a national treasure. They have immense knowledge of their field. So, they are the most eligible person to teach you but generally, they are strict to make you stay focuses. There are always good professors.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the college is top notch with the best facilities available in any engineering college. I have heard people saying bad about the mess food but here food is good. Our college has the largest campus of any engineering college in India (2,100 acre) with the amenities like 20-25 gyms, lakes, and Temples, Sports complexes, etc. There are many large playgrounds also. Parks are very common here.
 

Campus Rating
As, I have said the life here is excellent every day. It is just like a festival here. Many competitions, functions and gaming events are organized here on daily basis. You can play any sport you like. There are many gyms and swimming pools. You can watch the latest movies on the big screen for free on weekend. Basically from healthcare to sports to enjoyment everything is available that too for free.

    IIT Kharagpur is one of the most renowned academic institutes in India. It has NIRF ranking of 5th in engineering category. It is one among the oldest IITs in India which makes it strong alumni network. The lush greenery campus with fresh air, away from city makes students life excellent.   • Campus Life at IIT KGP: Clubs, Events, and Community

    IIT Kharagpur is a very good institute for engineering. It is among top 5 engineering institutes in India. The institute is also known for having largest campus in India (that is 2100 acres). Night life here is crazy, you will easy find lot of people roaming around in campus anytime at night.     Indian institute of technology Kharagpur is one of the oldest and best Engineering institutes in India. As we can see through the NIRF ranking, it is one of the prestigious institutes and we can get admission in it by cracking Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).
