Securing My Future at LSR New Delhi

Overall Rating
To get into LSR New Delhi, a student needs more than 98 percentile. The college has elite facilities and crowd. The faculty is great and very supportive environment is there. You have to be a bookworm here.
 

Academics Rating
From a student of Commerce background, I explored all the options and settled on Economics (Hons.) Academics of LSR is best in India for graduate programs. Firstly, it's not a college that has plenty of seats and therefore no undivided attention is there. Academics here not just leave us with wealth of knowledge but also with a sense of empowerment.
The fee for Economics (Hons.) is Rs. 22,000. I am eligible for 10% scholarship and hence I paid Rs. 19,000.
 

Faculty Rating
Our faculty loves teaching and it's because they love teaching, they have been able to teach us in a way that we also have fallen in love with our subjects. They do everything to help us with studies and mental health issues. They are highly qualified and very approachable. Their problem solving skills are top notch.
 

Placement Rating
Best companies like the BCG, Bain Capital and De Shaw are all part of our placement program. The college helps and trains us for on and off campus placements.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Among women's college in Delhi, we are definitely the biggest campus and we have all the facilities. We have two lawns and one of that has LSR logo statue. Wi-Fi at the campus is there and boys are strictly not allowed and that's the level of security we have at our campus. We have a shooting range too.
 

Campus Rating
TUT Block, which is the most exciting and happening area of college is where best time of campus life is spent. Societies will keep you engaged and also is the best learning place after classrooms. Our Diwali fest is probably the best in DU as Rangoli Competitions to Painting Competitions, all are held in our college during that fest called ‘Noor’. Then we do have our very own cultural fest called ‘Tarang.’

    The course I chosen is Journalism because I wish to pursue a career in editorial or PR in the future. To get admission in BA (Hons.) Journalism, you need to qualify CUET exam. The first round cutoff for this year was 770/800. For CUET, there are two available subject combinations to qualify. Any 3 subjects that are in list B and that you’ve studied in class 12th plus English, or general test & English. The admission process is quite simple and it’s online.     Before coming here, I was so skeptical whether I would find any genuine person or girls would be toxic, but to my surprise everything is so nice here, the people, the environment, the work culture, infrastructure everything.     I loved my experience in this college. Being a first year student pursuing Economic (Hons.), I think the glorified picture of Lady Shri Ram College pictured outside DU, is indeed true. Particularly for economics, this is genuinely the best college. I have gained both knowledge and confidence here. The campus itself is very beautiful with lush green lawns the iconic red brick architecture of DU. There are many societies here, covering everything a student may be interested in.     My overall experience at Lady Shri Ram College is very good. The campus of the college is very good and Friendly. The environment of our college is very safe and feels like home. All the teachers and students are supportive and help us when we need. It's a girls college so we can stay here without any fear.     My learning experience has been truly amazing with amazing teachers, curriculum and all. I chose this college because of its popularity, good placements and quality education. It is very different from other colleges in terms of security and environment.
