Jamia Millia Islamia University B.Sc Review By Rohit Kumar

Jamia Millia Islamia is a central university in Okhla New Delhi. It offers more than 100 courses. Overall university is full of greenery; everywhere you will find gardens and beautiful flowers. There is a statue of MIRZA GALIB in its main campus that is gate no. 7. Well I know most of Hindu students have mentality that it is a Muslim University but believe me you would not mind this if you enter in this university and the culture of jamia is very good you can't get this anywhere and that is the reason why I joined it.

I enrolled in B.Sc hons. Mathematics as I love maths. Eligibility is candidate should 12th pass with maths background. There were total 45 entry in this course. Also the NIRF ranking of this Jamia Millia Islamia is 3rd. The central library which is full of peace we can go there anytime and read any book. It consists of more than 30 thousand books.

I have enrolled in B.Sc hons. Mathematics program as I love mathematics. As per my experience professors are very intelligent here and very cooperative too. They would never force you to complete your notes and work because it is not school now. Their concepts are very well organized which makes students easy to understand. For this they conduct their own entrance exam for admission in which I secured AIR 2.

Yes we also have placement cell in our university. Last year many students of our batch got placed in Byju’s as teacher. If you talk about B.Tech and MBA, MCA's placement then it is very good here. Most of all means around 90% got placed last year.

There are several hostels in our university because here students come from all over India and also outside from India. I have seen Korean and Russians here. For them we have different hostels. Hostels are well cleaned and wi-fi upgraded. Also warden of boys’ hostel if very frank as I have talked with him.

There are separate buildings for each departments. And everywhere is greenery and also the central canteen is hub of tasty foods and you will get everything more than your expectations. There is a separate sports complex as well where you can play more than 50 games outdoor and indoor included. Also RCA the IAS prep institute is in our campus which is full of peace and knowledge.

Jamia Millia Campus life is awesome. You will meet different people of different religion who lives together and everything. It is like a mini India where all religion comes and celebrates together. Really I have enjoyed too much. Talking to the fest it is rare in our university because of some issues. But yes there are so much events which would never feel to miss fest.
