Honest review about PEC

Overall Rating
My college experience is very well, and my college life is good. I chose this particular college because of placement and value of college is very higher as compared to many NITs. This college category is GFTI. Admission process is through JOSAA counseling.
 

Academics Rating
My branch course is Civil Engineering; I joined this course because of great scope in Civil Engineering inside India and outside country. Entry requirements in college are common process like NITs. Eligibility for this course- crack JEE mains exam and achieve good percentile and after cracked exam you participate in JOSAA counseling and take this college. My motive for enrolling in this program civil engineering is very worth it program in B.Tech.
 

Faculty Rating
Punjab engineering college Chandigarh faculty members is very educated and teaching experience is very well. And civil engineering faculty very great and many members pass-out IITs and NITs. Faculty member’s background is good. Teaching style of faculty is impressive and interesting. They use projector for well teaching and we can do practice in labs.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, Placement Cell at my institute. My college placement is very good. Average package in this college is 10-11 LPA. And highest package is 84-85 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, my institute hostel life is not good but average. Facilities are one fan, one table, two bed, one-two electric switch, one tube light, one almirah, laundry, sweeper, etc. Mess food is average.
 

Infrastructure Rating
My college infrastructure is very old (102 years old). The college size 146 acres. There are many buildings in my college that are divided according to branch department. Classroom can accommodate 60-80 students. Maximum buildings are same as each other and all infrastructures are colored.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good, college crowd average, students doing are many activities and fun in campus. Many clubs are in my college like ace, ACM, IEC, dramatics, robotics etc. My college officially festival is perfect, and it's celebrated on 1st November every year. We can do many fun activities by college clubs and societies.

    Punjab Engineering College is a well known and very reputed college. College provides very good placement opportunities and internship opportunities. But, the campus itself does not have modern infrastructure and classes are not air conditioned.   • Career Prospects and Placements at Punjab Engineering College

    It has been a good experience till now in Punjab Engineering College. I am currently pursuing my UG from Computer Science Engineering from here. I joined this college due its high placements and internship opportunities. It’s a government funded technical institution. The institute is around 100 years old.     The college has a great location and past. It is located in Chandigarh which provides a beautiful surrounding and atmosphere. Being a JEE student, You would always like to have a good college to complete your B.Tech degree. PEC, Chandigarh is considered better than even many NIT's and IIT's which made me choose this college.     The college overall is great. The infrastructure is okay but the environment is good and there is literally zero ragging. The senior junior interaction here is very good and professors are very dedicated towards their work. The college gives a very happy kind of a vibe.
