COEP Technological University Pune Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Seating capacity of the whole campus is just enough right now after the induction of 2024 First Year batch. Campus size is actually bigger than what it seems because of the Division due to the bridge. The structure of the buildings is also good. Classroom sitting capacity is averagely 90 - 100. And all of them equipped with projectors and some of them with smart Samsung screens with touch response for teaching. All the subjects have their own well equipped labs. There are two canteens in this university. A huge ground in front of Hostel buildings. The favorite/soothing place in the campus for almost everyone is EnTC garden. Many of the buildings here are made from the donations by large scale industries and hence advanced.

The campus life is pretty good as it is equipped with all the facilities and quite a few leisure and study areas. The crowd here is like the one should live with. Here, all the toppers from the CET and JEE exams come together and hence studios environments where there's always room to learn and improve. There are too many clubs (more than 50). And the fest, events, activities are best of its class and engaging where participants is irresistible. The campus of COEP Technological University is spread in 43 acres of land and is connected by an underground subway. The campus is in Shivajinagar, Pune. The classrooms have seating capacities of 100 students. Facilities like a library, labs, halls, auditorium, etc. are present. There are two canteens: one with a boat club view and the other a large space canteen. A sports canteen is also present, with high-level security. The favorite thing about the University is the boat club canteen with its lakeside view. The scenic lakeside view complements the course teaching.

Campus life is pretty good, though sometimes hectic. The crowd at COEP Technological University is great, with good people around. There are many sports clubs, technical clubs, and cultural clubs. No, I am not part of any club. I participated once in a Sherlock-themed game at the University's MindSpark event. Campus life feels great. You get good exposure and interaction with peers. The campus is full of trees and the construction of the university buildings is of British style that gives an aesthetic vibe to the university. The campus size is roughly 45 acres and it is located in the centre of Pune in the area of Shivajinagar. The locality is mostly commercial consisting of offices and businesses. The university campus is divided into different departments for different courses. For example, CE has its own department and ENTC also has its own department. The department is divided into many blocks of buildings. Each department has its personal library for specialized books. There is general public library at the centre of campus for all the students. The thing that makes COEP unique is it is divided into two campus, North, and south campus. There is a road that passes through these campuses separating them. Students can travel through them with help of a passage way created from under the road. This gives the university a completely new feel. For a classroom, the seating capacity is generally 100 students with each classroom having a projector and blackboard. There is different number of labs required for each subject making the subject more interesting. There two canteen in the two campuses of the university. There are two auditoriums in the university. The favorite thing about my university campus is the boat club. The river Mula Mutha flows just beside our university and at bank of the river, our own boat club is situated. The view from the club is refreshing and pleasing. All the lectures for the first year are conducted in a single building called academic campus that makes students easier to attend all the lectures at same place.

Overall campus life is very good. All the students are always cheerful making a very energetic vibe in the university. There are over 65 clubs in the university like mind spark, octane, impressions, etc that organize different events throughout the year. I am part of the mindspark club that organizes the technical exhibition and events in the university. It is the biggest club in the university. The university organizes different workshops, lectures, and competitions throughout the year to develop the skills of the students. Various fests take place throughout the year but the most important fests are Mind Spark, Zest and PSF. Mindspark is organized by the mindspark club that organizes different competitions throughout the event like hackathons, racing, boat fights, etc. and also exhibitions of technical stuffs like drones, virtual reality, etc. Zest is the fest that is conduct at the university level sports competition and PSF (Pune startup fest) provide students and young entrepreneurs to display their ideas.
