COEP Technological University Pune Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules

Yes there is hostel or residential facilities available for all the students and also for the faculties of the college, and also for some students and organizations that have their projects going on with the faculties. There are many hostels for both the genders. It is not a co-ed hostel. There is mess or canteen available which is common for both the genders. But the quality of food is not very good. Hostel is quite good. I took admission in the hostel of COEP; it is near the college itself. I didn't stay for much time in hostel because I have to move out to my home due to the pandemic and lockdowns. But the time I spent in hostel is some of the great time in my hostel life. The hostel has mess facility. Non-hostelites are allowed to enter the hostel premises. Non-hostelites can also join the mess in the hostel. They serve food 4 times a day in the hostel. The food is good to taste. One thing I didn't really like and was really disappointing throughout my stay at the hostel was the hygiene. The hostel is not maintained and they should really focus on that. The hostel doesn't have any entertainment rooms. The rooms in which students stay are also not well maintained and the bedding also is very poor.Read Full Review

I already live in Pune so there is no need for me to stay in a hostel. Though I would have loved that. COEP hostel has a gym also. It has a sports ground over which they arrange tournaments and different matches. It also has a court for lawn tennis, badminton and table tennis. I have a couple of friends who stay in the hostel and only from that I can tell you all this. They admit that the hostel is not well maintained and it really needs to be taken care of. The rooms are not tidy and hence are congested. But I have seen those who live in the hostel have a special bond between them. I wish I have gotten the chance to experience the hostel life.Read Full Review
