    COEP Technological University: Faculty Excellence and Academic Support
    The course I'm currently in is B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. It is the top branch of choice and eventually ranked at top for admissions. The academics for this branch are well structured. Along with this, as COEP Technological University has implemented National Education Policy, the subject for all the semesters are quite different from that of Savitribai Phule Pune University and yet doesn't seem to miss anything; instead this seems to be the perfect combination of all the subjects for that respective branch.
    Since the COEP became COEP Technological university, establishing its own university unlike being under Savitribai Phule Pune University, its fee it not as low as it used to be. Currently it is at around Rs. 1,50,000 per year.Read Full Review

    COEP Technological University Admissions: JEE and MHT-CET Requirements
    The course chosen by me is B.E. in Civil Engineering at COEP Technological University. My motive regarding this course is that I have the same type of family business that I wanted to expand and learn more about it. The entry requirements in this University is a minimum cut off clearance in JEE or MHT-CET exam which changes every year depending on students appearing for the exam and their score. The admission process consists of 3 CAP rounds followed by a SPOT round which happens in 1 to 1.5 months after the results are out. The exam JEE happens twice in a year and MHT-CET happens only once. The academics help to understand clearly with challenges and have them accordingly, calmly with sensible reflexes.
    The fee for Open criteria for my course is Rs. 1.42 Lakh for one year including tuition fees, admission and registration fees. This is different that we need to pay for freezing our seats in the respective rounds of admission. Many discounts are provided for students with reserved category except open such an expectation on tuition and developments fees, etc. MAHDBT and many other scholarships help students financially. The amount varies as for EWS category. I got Rs. 7,500 discount.Read Full Review

    COEP University Hostel Life: Affordable Living with Unlimited Meals
    I am enrolled in B.Tech that too in Computer Science. Since childhood, I have always been interested in gadgets like computer, mobile, and electronic stuff. So I always wanted be an engineer. You can get admission in the university through JEE Main Or Maharashtra CET but the score generally goes high (Above 99 percentile) for Computer Science. In boards, you need to clear certain aggregate in PCM. The admission process is carried through CAP rounds. There are three CAP rounds conducted for admitting students according to their percentile. We have total of eight semesters in 4 years that is 2 semesters per year. Each semester has 2 exams, mid sem (30 marks) and end sem (60 marks) and the remaining 10 marks are internal marks that are given by respective teachers. Making a total of 100 marks for each subject. In first year, the subjects are mostly general and same of all courses. The subjects start to specialize from 2nd year. There are many extracurricular subjects like Indian knowledge, communication skills, etc. that help student develop basic skills like talking, thinking, listening, etc.
    The fee for CS is Rs. 1,35,000 for a year for general category. The fee varies according to the category. My fee is Rs. 1,20,200 for a year. The tuition fee for general category is Rs, 15,000 there is no tuition fee for other category the students. Development fee is Rs. 60,000 and other fee is Rs. 60,000. There is registration fee for CAP Rounds. There are various discount for students that are admitted through reservation quota. There are many scholarships available for students like MahaDBT Scholarship scheme and reliance foundation Scholarship. The MahaDBT scholarship provides the tuition fee waiver for OBC students, that are Rs. 15,000. The reliance foundation Scholarship provides Rs. 50,000 every year.Read Full Review
