IIT Roorkee M.Tech Fees Structure 2024 & Admission Process

Academics never go under the radar at IITs. Classes are compulsory because students deprived from writing their exams are quite common at any IIT. Well, I was an obedient student and made sure that my attendance was no short of 80% as it was the minimum percentage required. The course was so superior that from my previous learnings only 10-15% of it saw an extension and rest all was completely new. Well, at IITs there's no shortcut to success, and I used to eat a lot of the heads of my friends and faculties because getting through the course was not at all easy. I joined the M. Tech course in computer applications. My under graduation was from the Computer Science Branch; therefore, I filled my GATE form with CSIT code and cleared it in my final year of under graduation. I was also offered one PSU, but I have always been into research, so I declined that offer. My reason to join this course is that in my undergrad, my College’s placement records were not nice so I decided back then in my second year that I will be preparing for the ultimate GATE exam. In case you are thinking that it was all classes and studies then you are wrong. The College has some of the best labs for civil and even in a compact lab; we learned how to develop Infrastructure. I was unhappy, as I thought we would be sent to sites for practicals, but the labs were more than justified. We were sent to infra sites from highways to buildings, we saw it all. The mechanism required to build a nation is what we were taught. And needless to say that their academic system has worked the best.Read Full Review
