College life has its own room of memories. If there is a phase in life where we learn most of our lessons then I think that phase would be college life. We meet new people, have so many great heads to guide us, this is only possible only when you choose a great college to learn in. While I study at VIT Pune. I am pursuing Chemical Engineering, I can feel that I am growing in many ways. Most importantly, I am growing my worth academically and socially. This college has given me many things and is still going on adding up to its new lessons and memories. It is after all the college life that gets you all busy in itself, doesn't it?

Academically, I would 100% recommend VIT College Pune. The academic faculty is so good in their field. The projects they assign make you more connected to the real knowledge. The quantity and quality of the projects assigned really polishes one's social and educational skills. The exam method keeps you more grounded to know how work happens in the real world. That is what makes it more real and exciting. In VIT College, they focus more on practical knowledge as well as theory one. This is the thing that I like the most about it. It provides all the academic resources which are needed for the academic growth of students.

In VIT, I think most of the faculty members have experience by hand. With their experience, we students find their guidance very helpful. The faculty takes the responsibility to train students with practical knowledge by assigning them different assignment works. That does not mean the faculty ignores the theory knowledge. They focus on that too in class lectures. They weigh more on how a student will gain practical knowledge than just textbooks. The faculty is ready to help the students whenever they need it with their projects and assignments. Students can always look up to the faculty members for inspiration. I really have a good experience with the faculty and have zero complaints.

I have heard from many seniors that VIT Pune Placement is encouraging. And I have actually witnessed some of them getting good placement in reputed companies with attractive packages. Every student has a dream to get placed in one of such big companies, I have that dream too. Seniors tell me that almost 100 + companies come to VIT campus placement. Big companies like Kirloskar group, Infosys, Atlas Copco India limited, etc. come to VIT for placement. The students with all the engineering streams have scope in the placement. The faculty members get you ready with much needed grooming that is required for placement interviews, they are very helpful with that. No students are less in VIT when it comes to placement, everyone tries hard to get placed into such good companies.

There are many good positive points it has but VIT Pune Hostel is not one of them. I wanted to stay at hostel but seeing it's fees I gave up the idea. It's too costly. I visited it 2-3 times because some of my friends stay there. They tell about the food, that it is good. While lunch and dinner all the students sit and eat together. That is really helpful and creates a special bond and brotherhood between all the students. The hostel has small garden but they don't maintain it very well. This is really disappointing considering the fees they take for the hostel. They have indoor games and entertainment facilities. The VIT hostel can do better in case of maintaining the premises.

Like other colleges, VIT is not that big and flashy with its infrastructure. Though the classrooms are good and spacious enough to not have any complaints with it. The college has a playground but no one plays there in college timings. It has a library but the capacities to accommodate the students is very less which is really problematic during exam times. The college has a study hall but it's always noise there which makes it difficult to study or read. Students do their work or assignments sitting there. The college has 2 canteens but I used to go to Khaugalli near college with my friends. College has a gym, an auditorium, clubs and committees.

Any student never forgets his college campus. It imprints a great image of his college. The college provides many opportunities and an environment to make students their best version of themselves. In my college days, I have always felt inspired and a need to be creative. VIT has a space for all of it. The campus, though it is not so big in infrastructure but has made a very big place in every student's heart. The annual functions and different festivals really add up to the memories and play a great role in connecting you to the other students which is really a big help if you look at it from a student's perspective. And the faculty has a great role in rooting pillars for your future performance.
