Questioning an institute which is 6 decades old and has produced some gems is not fair but what I have been through or seen was not good either. Patiala is no more a town that is famous for its historical forts or worship places. Today, it has some of the best colleges and universities in Thapar and Chitkara University Rajpura. Overall it's a great experience in academics as well as sports on the Punjabi University Patiala. It's NAAC 'A' grade Accredited state university. Punjabi University Admission is on pure merit basis, all reservation rules are applied in the admission process. There is a physical efficiency test for admission in M.P.ED its number should be count in merit as well as sports achievements number should be added in merit.
