I have been in this VIT Vellore for almost a year and how smoothly the 1 year went. So before joining any college I did a lot of research as other students did, then I decided to join VIT Vellore. And I don’t regret my decision at all. I gained a lot of knowledge and confidence after spending 1 year here. Everything here is so systematic: - Teachers etc. And the most attractive thing here is the beauty of this campus. I have never seen such a beautiful campus of other college.

I am pursuing Electronics and Communication Engineering from VIT Vellore. It’s a 4-year UG program. I had interest in ECE, so I preferred these over others. In ECE they teach you both software and hardware; it’s a combination of both. So, to get into VIT, you need to qualify its entrance exam called VITEEE and if you score a good rank then you can take admission in its any campus. You need to get surely at least a rank of 50k to get admission in VIT Vellore main campus.

Here the faculties are awesome. They are professional and very knowledgeable in their respective fields. After the first semester, you get the choice to choose teachers according to you, whichever teacher you want you can choose. You will get many options. Most of the faculties here are friendly and will help you but some of the teachers are blacklisted. Blacklisted in sense of maybe they give lots of assignments, or they don’t teach well or may be another reason.

VIT have a decent Placement Cell which takes responsibility of every student to get placed and grab the best opportunity.

In VIT Vellore, there are hostels named on freedom fighters or scientists like Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel block, Albert Einstein block etc. So, the hostel life here is pretty chill. Every hostel has Wi-Fi connected which gives good speed. Some have AC and some don’t have AC, the rooms are 2 beds, 4 beds, 6 beds, you can choose according to you whichever you want. Badminton courts are there, where you can play badminton in your free time and other sports facilities are also available.

The campus of VIT VELLORE is really beautiful and so big. And it has different academic blocks like Technology tower, PRP, silver jubilee tower; sum etc. and all are so beautiful and well managed. In TT, mostly ECE and EEE branch student’s classes are held, in SJT mostly CSE and IT student’s classes are there. The library of VIT VELLORE is the main attraction. VIT has other facilities like gym, swimming pool, table tennis court, badminton court, etc.

Campus life in VIT VELLORE is pretty chill. One can enjoy other things like clubs, fests and other activities along with their studies. The fest called as RIVIERA is held almost every year in which many comedians, singers, and concerts are held. Riviera is something grand and for which every student waits throughout the year. And there are many clubs like Debate club, quiz club, creativity club etc. in which you can enroll according to your interest.
